Pakistani Wedding Decorations

Wedding decorations are a central part of any muslim wedding ceremony and ensuring creative pakistani wedding decorations is what Aayojan specializes in.

Pakistani weddings are long affairs with a rich history of tradition and take place over a 4 day period. This period is marked not only by the longevity of the party, but also the ceremony of the Pakistani wedding ceremony and pakistani wedding stages.

First Day of the Celebration

On this day, the groom's and bride's families each dress in yellow garments and celebrate the upcoming moment seperately. The bride and groom will not see each other until the time of the ceremony from this period forward.

Second Day of the Celebration

The second day is the big celebration of Mehndi. This includes dancing and singing to ancient and traditional songs. This is also the day when the groom's family will deliver the bride's wedding dress to the bride's family. And the bride's family will present the groom's attire for the big day to his family. The bride's family will decorate their home with hundreds or thousands of colored lights to mark the happy occasion and announce their daughter's upcoming wedding. Pakistani wedding decor is truly a highlight of this event, where the bride's family really adorns their home for the enjoyment of their guests. The bride-to-be is waited on by her family while the henna dries overnight.

Third Day is the Marriage Ceremony

The wedding ceremony for pakistani wedding takes place on the third day and the bridge and groom continue to wear their red traditional garments. The bridge's wedding gown will be very elaborate along with her veil and jewelry. Men wear a distinctive muslim turban. After wedding vows are exchanged, the Holy Koran is placed over the new bride's head as she joins her husband's family. The official paperwork is signed in the presence of an Islamic priest and guests. This concludes the wedding ceremony. After the ceremony, a reception is held in honor of the new couple, where elaborate pakistani wedding decorations adorn the ballroom and guests can greet the new couple and dine.
